Frequently Asked Questions
Lesson Logistics
Do I need to make a reservation before attending a class?
You’re very welcome to just come along! However, sending me a quick message beforehand is helpful—it lets me prepare for you and ensures there's a seat ready. I want every student to feel personally welcomed and supported from the moment they arrive.
Can I join a class even if it has already started?
Yes! Each lesson is independent and designed so that anyone can join at any time, even if it's your first class. No prior knowledge is needed—you can just jump in and enjoy.
What if I have to cancel a class? Will I be charged?
No, there are no cancellation fees. Just let me know in advance, and I’ll refund your payment or apply it to your next class. I try to keep everything relaxed and stress-free.
Student Level & Class Style
I’m a beginner and nervous about speaking English. Is that okay?
Yes, absolutely! I specialize in helping nervous beginners feel confident. The lessons are warm, supportive, and tailored to your level. Many students start off shy, but quickly discover that learning can be fun and empowering—especially with a cup of tea and a friendly dog nearby.
I studied English a long time ago. Will I remember anything?
Definitely! Most people remember more than they expect. My teaching style helps gently reactivate what you already know, while building new skills in an enjoyable, no-pressure way.
I’ve tried English classes before and didn’t enjoy them. How is this different?
Many students tell me the same thing. What makes my lessons different is the combination of a welcoming home atmosphere, immersive experiences (like background music, props, or role-plays), and professionally prepared materials. Each class is custom-made for the students attending, so it's always relevant and engaging.
Are your classes only for adults? Can children or teens join too?
Right now, the regular classes are for adults. Teens who feel comfortable in an adult setting are welcome. I also have extensive experience teaching kids and teens, so if you’re interested in a custom plan for your child, just send me a message and I’d be happy to discuss it.

Location & Contact
Where are the classes held?
Lessons take place in my home in Uchihonmachi, just two minutes from Gyomu Super. There’s a quiet, cozy room set aside just for teaching—set up with a whiteboard, comfortable seating, and everything you need to enjoy your time.
How do I contact you if I have questions?
Please send me a message through this website or on LINE. I don’t usually answer phone calls (and my Japanese is limited), but I can translate written messages easily. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!
Is there parking nearby or easy access from the station?
Yes! There are three coin parking areas less than a minute away. It’s also an easy walk from JR Suita Station and Hankyu Suita Station.

What makes your lessons special?
My goal is to make English learning easy, enjoyable, and meaningful. Each class is customized for the students attending and built around professional materials, interactive activities, and a welcoming space that feels more like visiting a friend than sitting in a classroom. With a small group and personalized attention, you’ll make real progress—while having a good time doing it.
