Travel English
Travel English helps you feel confident the next time you step onto a plane—or even hop on a local train. In this friendly, practical class we cover everything you need for real-world trips: checking in at the airport, ordering food abroad, asking for directions, handling money, and dealing with emergencies. Each lesson blends short dialogues, role-plays, and bite-sized videos, so you hear natural English and practise it right away.
Lesson Structure
Every session is designed so you can step into real-world travel situations with confidence and a smile.
Starter Vocabulary (10 min)
Mini Travel Scene (10 min)
Next comes a short, image-rich story that shows today’s words in action—checking in at an airport desk, ordering ramen at a station café, or finding your hotel room. I tell the story entirely in English, using pictures, gestures, and repetition instead of Japanese translation, so the meaning sinks in naturally.
Core Role-Plays (35 min)
Role-plays are the heart of Travel English. We start with two quick, friendly dialogues to warm up, then dive into one or two longer scenarios that mirror real travel tasks—dropping off luggage, asking a taxi driver for a specific address, or solving a problem at hotel reception. Partners rotate so you practise with different voices and styles, and we repeat until the phrases feel comfortable.
Quick Check & Take-Away (5 min)
We finish with a fast “Ticket Inspector” quiz: I ask a few spontaneous questions from today’s scenes (“What gate number is on your boarding pass?”). Answering on the spot builds confidence, and you leave class knowing you can handle the same situation in the real world.
Downloadable vocabulary audio, printable role-play cards, and optional homework videos are provided, so you can keep rehearsing wherever you are—on the train, at home, or even at the airport.
